Countries are becoming more and more similar because people are able to buy the same products anywhere in the world. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?
Due to vast network of trade routes set across the globe, countries are now more than ever engaged in trade with each other. This has caused a uniform distribution of products all over the world, which has caused the countries to be alike in wide variety of ways. In my opinion this is a positive development and people will benefit from this change in dynamics.
First and foremost, this has proved to be a blessing in disguise, as the world is facing an economic down slide, the economic trade has emerged as a major means for countries to earn foreign exchange. Secondly relations between countries in moving towards a friendlier side, which used to be bitter in the past. for example, Pakistan and China are not only involved in trade fair but their relations have been improved more than ever and as a result, it has benefited its resident as they can now work and earn freely in either of the two nations.
Furthermore, people now have the same ease to buy their products of choice from any country as it is readily available in their local supermarkets. You don’t have to spend extra money or bear the burden of travelling to buy an item. Today any mobile device or electronic equipment is available across the continents same day as it is released. This cuts down the buyers hassle to get his favorite product.
All in all, this has not only proven beneficial for countries but also for people. This has proven to be a positive development which should be encouraged more so to put an end to the world economic crisis.
